Please, Very Important! How to Ask Him About His Cocaine Use?

my boyfriend admitted to using cocaine “occasionally”, but he has not given be his definition of occasionly so i do not know if that means monthly, weekly, or more.
When he told me this we broke up [not only becuase he was doing this and other drugs, but also because he has been keeping such a huge secret and lying to me, with no desire to stop.]
He has been trying to get me to be his girlfriend again, but how do I know if he has quit or if he is just hiding this from me?

My main question is: How Do I Ask Him if He is Using Coke?

I imagine he will get defensive and come up with an excuse so please could ANYBODY please give me a serious answer on what is the best way to ask him this and how to expect a response?

If he is addicted, he will lie to you. But addicts have this confessional/bragging instinct. If you make it sound like it’s okay for him to do it occasionally, he’ll admit to it. If he tell him you will not tolerate it, he’ll simply lie. I don’t know of anyone who stops doing coke. You stop crack and meth bc you wind up losing your job and ruining your life, but coke is like alcohol and caffeine. It’s a manageable addiction for most, not to say some don’t ruin their lives with it.
